Terms of service
Ordering is not open yet, and nothing can be bought today. These terms apply to your use of this website now and, once ordering opens, to every order. Sections 3 to 8 and 11 describe how orders will work from the day ordering opens.
1. The service
Lyriclip is run by Shai Barak (שי ברק), a registered Israeli sole trader (business number 033654807), postal address: Modi'in, Israel; legal notices by email to support@lyriclip.co ("Lyriclip", "we"). Lyriclip makes lyric videos automatically, by code, from the song and lyrics you provide, at a fixed price and with the same process for every song. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms, the Privacy policy, the Refund policy and the Acceptable use and takedown policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract.
3. How an order will work
When ordering opens:
- You upload your song and paste your lyrics. The words in your video are the lyrics you provide; you are responsible for them.
- The engine chooses the look of your video from your song. You do not choose a style.
- You see a free preview of 12 to 15 seconds, with a watermark and at low resolution. You may ask for another version of the preview, up to 2 more free tries per song.
- You pay $29 for the song. Payment is handled by our payment partner (section 4).
- After payment we make the full video in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 and give you a download link valid for 90 days.
- After payment you may fix your lyrics and have the video re-rendered, up to 2 times at no charge. If a video has a defect caused by us (for example a wrong or missing word, timing that is visibly off, cut or unreadable lettering, a file that does not play, or a watermark on a paid file) we re-render it at no charge and this does not use up your 2 fixes. There are no paid fixes and no other paid options.
- Times shown on the site or in our emails are estimates, not guarantees.
4. Price and payment
When ordering opens, the price will be in US dollars, one time per song (no subscription). Any tax that applies is calculated at checkout from your location and shown before you pay. Payment is handled by our payment partner, which acts as Merchant of Record: it sells the product to you, collects payment, calculates and remits VAT and sales tax, issues the invoice and processes refunds. Its buyer terms also apply. We never see or store your card details.
5. Your content and your promises
You confirm and promise that:
- you made the song and lyrics, or you own or control all the rights needed to have a lyric video made from them and to use the finished video as you intend. Buying a song, or crediting an artist, does not by itself give you that right;
- if your song was made with an AI music tool such as Suno, the terms of that tool allow the use you intend. We cannot grant or check those rights, and Lyriclip is not affiliated with Suno;
- your content does not infringe anyone's rights and does not break the law.
You keep all rights you have in your content. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and render your content only to provide the service to you and to meet legal obligations. You are responsible for claims arising from your content and agree to indemnify us for third-party claims caused by your breach of this section, to the extent the law permits. A false declaration of rights lets us cancel the order without refund and remove the content.
6. Prohibited content and use
Do not upload content that is illegal; infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights; sexually exploits or endangers minors; incites violence or hatred or is harassing; impersonates a person in a way that could cause harm; or contains malware. Do not abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may refuse or stop an order, delete content and close an account for violations, and report unlawful content where the law requires. If we refuse an order before production we refund it in full. See also the Acceptable use and takedown policy.
7. Licence to the delivered video
Once the order is paid in full, you may use the delivered video worldwide, without time limit, for personal and commercial purposes, and you may edit it. The licence covers the video we produced. It grants no rights in the underlying song or lyrics, which stay with you and their rights holders. We keep our rights in our software and methods. The licence ends if the order is refunded.
8. Retention and deletion
Download links are valid for 90 days. Please save your copy of the final video and keep your own copies of your source material. How long we keep your files and records is stated in the Privacy policy.
9. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work with reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or lost profits, and our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law or any mandatory consumer rights you have.
10. Copyright and abuse reports
To report infringing or unlawful content, follow the steps on the Acceptable use and takedown page or email support@lyriclip.co.
11. Refunds
See the Refund policy, which is part of these terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes do not affect orders already placed, except where the law requires. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection laws, and any right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence under those laws, are not affected. Please write to us first at support@lyriclip.co so we can try to resolve the issue.
